Report an Incident

KW Comic Con is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all attendees, exhibitors, staff, volunteers, and guests. If you witness or experience behavior that violates our Code of Conduct, Anti-Harassment Policy, Health & Safety Policy, or any other event regulations, we encourage you to report it.

All reports are taken seriously and will be handled promptly and confidentially.

When to File an Incident Report

You should file an incident report for any situation involving:

Harassment or discrimination
Threats, intimidation, or violence
Safety hazards or unsafe conduct
Violations of convention rules or policies
Theft or property damage
Medical or security concerns
Any behaviour that makes you feel unsafe or uncomfortable

If the situation is an immediate threat to safety, please locate the nearest staff member or security personnel before filling out the form.

How to Report an Incident

You can report an incident in any of the following ways:

This form may be submitted anonymously; however, providing contact information allows us to follow up and address the issue more effectively.

What Information to Include

For the most effective response, please provide:

Date and time of the incident
Location (hall, booth number, room, etc.)
Names or descriptions of individuals involved (if known)
Description of what happened
Names of any witnesses
Any supporting evidence (photos, screenshots, etc.)
Your contact information (optional but helpful)

After You Submit a Report

Once a report is received:

It is immediately reviewed by the Safety Team or designated senior staff.
You may be contacted for clarification or additional information (if not anonymous).
A preliminary assessment is performed to determine next steps.
Appropriate action will be taken, which may include:
- Verbal warnings
- Removal from the event
- Documentation for future bans
- Involvement of venue security or local authorities

We will handle all reports with discretion and respect for your privacy.

Retaliation Policy

Retaliation against anyone who files a report or cooperates with an investigation is strictly prohibited and may result in removal from the event or further disciplinary action.

Emergency Situations

If you believe someone is in immediate danger, alert event security or a staff member right away.

For life-threatening emergencies, call 911 immediately.

Report abuse
