KW Comic Con is run by FandomForge Collective, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to creating affordable, community-focused fan events in Southwestern Ontario. Our team is made up of both Staff and Volunteers, each playing an important but distinct role in making the convention possible.
Staff members are part of the year-round operations team. They take on ongoing responsibilities such as planning, logistics, guest coordination, programming, and overall event management. Staff roles begin long before convention weekend and continue through post-event review and next-year planning.
Volunteers support the convention during the event itself. These roles don’t require prior experience and are open to anyone willing to help attendees, support panels, assist exhibitors, manage lines, and help keep the event running smoothly throughout the weekend.
Volunteers help bring the event to life by supporting attendees, exhibitors, and programming areas. Whether you prefer helping on the show floor or assisting behind the scenes, there’s a role suited to every comfort level.
