Tara Jayne Sands can be heard voicing over 50 characters in the original English Pokémon TV series, including Bulbasaur, Richie, Jasmine, Oddish, Yamper, and Tori. Her extensive anime and animation credits also include Biscuit in Hunter x Hunter, Mokuba in Yu-Gi-Oh!, Kari in Digimon Adventure tri., Anna in Shaman King, Curious in My Hero Academia, and multiple roles in Jujutsu Kaisen—including Momo, Utahime, and Young Panda.

For two years—and over 100 episodes—Tara was the on-camera host of Cartoon Network’s weekly Friday night lineup, aptly titled Fridays. During her time on the show, she interviewed dozens of celebrities, including George Lucas, Robin Williams, Charles Barkley, and Daniel Radcliffe, and participated in more on-camera food fights than she cares to remember.
In addition to her on-screen and voice work, Tara has narrated over 300 audiobooks. She currently co-hosts the podcast 4Kids Flashback, where she interviews actors and staff from 4Kids Entertainment—the company responsible for bringing iconic anime such as Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and One Piece to English-speaking audiences.
